Thesis: Design For a Site Between a Bus-Stand and Market

I am an architecture student doing my final year thesis project. My site is located inbetween a bus-stand and a market in the town of Mapusa Goa. The town lacks recreational facilities and community spaces and has a great problem of traffic. I need to come up with a program which would relate to the functions stated above and the surroundings as mentioned above. Any suggestions?
