Actually, by employing greener methods of construction, we initially increase our construction costs, but the building in turn becomes a lot more climatically responsive and electrically efficient only to reduce the monetary running cost.
By reducing the running cost, we reduce the chances of ruining the owner. Further, an increased project cost means an increased architect’s fee. So, we as architects and they as clients and enviornment as mother has nothing to loose in this field. Hence, architectural companies should definitely come up with greener method’s of erecting building’s and structure’s in India till we pass out.
